'milky way' embroidered, sequined denim - sky

From a Dutch manufacturer specializing in high-quality sustainable fabrics, this is a very unique, intricately embroidered denim. We have limited yardage and it is such a find! The base fabric is a lightweight 4 oz. cotton denim, and the embroidery adds some firmness to the drape. It is semi-opaque, soft and smooth with no stretch. The phenomenal "milky way" design has a vertical repeat of about 16.5". The denim is a shade of sunwashed blue, embroidered with a matte cream thread along with a natural white yarn accented with fine golden sequins speckled throughout. Try a colorful lawn or voile for your base layer to peek through and complete the look. It is Oeko-Tex certified for non-toxic chemicals and dyes. Make an amazing jacket, shirt, skirt, dress, etc. Also great for sewing bags and home decor. Machine was cool and lay flat or hang to dry. Do not bleach and iron on low.
